People especially children and teenagers are ignorant about drugs. Even though schools have given talks about drugs, some choose to turn a deaf ear. Children in primary school especially the young ones may not understand bout it. They are then curious to know about drugs. Some children have parents who may be drug addicts and they think it will be okay to take drugs so they may follow in their parents footsteps by taking drugs. The parents who are drug addicts may not have notice it as they do not care what their children do. In the end, the children will also be addicted to drugs and it will affect their studies and health. Some children as young as 6 years old have died because of drugs. Teenagers are the most common people to take drugs. They think that by taking drugs, it will take their troubles away, make them feel 'high' and make them feel good. Even those who are the 'innocent' take drugs due to bad influence with friends and adults who are drug addicts or strangers. Some teenagers might not even know that they had taken drugs. Adults are also influenced because of drugs. Some even became drug traffickers. They are then arrested and taken to a rehabilitation centre. The consequences of taking drugs or trafficking them are frightening as some schools have shown videos of what happens to them for example caning. I think that everybody should be aware of what are drugs and the consequences of taking them so that everybody can keep a lookout for those drug addicts and traffickers to help them conquer their addiction.
